Maui Fun For All Budgets

July 18, 2018

I have heard Maui called “the hundred dollar island” a few times. This means it costs that much or more per person to do the many fun activities and tours available on the island. I love snorkel boat trips, zip lining, luaus, parasailing and more. But it’s not cheap to do those things. Here’s the secret; fill your Maui itinerary with things to do for $10 or less and weave in a few of the more costly fun adventures. That way a 7 day vacation averages out to about $50 a day per person (not including food – but that’s a whole other blog:).

The following is a list of 25 things to do on Maui for $10 or less per person. Many things on the list are free. There are many more things that could make the list too. Send us a comment with your favorite $10 or less thing to do on Maui. We’d love to share your creative ideas with other Maui visitors and residents. Mahalo!
