All good things take time. After more than two years of researching,planning, organizing, hiring, permitting, and constructing: Kihei’s favorite local rental car company is plugging into its new photovoltaic system. Yes, we are going green! With the many hours of year round sun in Kihei and the tax credit available from the IRS and the State of Hawaii, it was silly not to go solar. We have 126 panels on top of a steel carport structure in our backyard. So, not only did we add solar, we added shade. By not having a monthy electric bill our 30 year solar savings $592,025!
