After a six-year hiatus, the 98ᵗʰ Maui County Fair is back, October 2–5, 2025, at the War Memorial Special Events Complex in Kahului.
Whether you’re in town for a week or just a few days, this festival is a perfect stop during your Maui road trip. Hop in your rental car and cruise into the heart of island culture—with thrilling E.K. Fernandez rides, food booths, local artisan vendors, exhibitions, and nightly entertainment. The fair opens with a parade Thursday at 4:30 p.m., led by former Mayor Michael Victorino as Grand Marshal.
Heads up for drivers: during the parade, Ka‘ahumanu Avenue (from Liholiho to Kahului Beach Road) will be closed 4–6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Other traffic restrictions apply around Kanaloa Avenue and adjoining streets throughout the fair’s run. Use the free shuttle (every 30 minutes, more often at peak times) from Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center, Keōpūolani Park, and North Market Street to the fairgrounds.
As your local car rental provider, we suggest planning your fair evening drives around these closures, leaving extra travel time. And don’t forget—park at free or paid lots and hop on the shuttle to skip the hassle! We hope your Maui experience includes rides, funnel cake, live music, and unforgettable memories.
Have an amazing time!
