So many folks travel from Alaska to Maui on an annual basis. We have the greatest customers that remember to bring us smoked salmon as well as large quantities of smoked salmon dip and crackers! They truly brighten our day when they get to the office.
Our very own customer/author left a copy of his recent children’s book for Corkey to give to her grand daughter! The thoughtfulness and caring this act took is remarkable!
Of course we are showered all year round with the popular, and not in Hawaii, Trader Joe’s snacks! There is something for everyone since the variety of treats our incredible, generous customers carry across the ocean is always changing and always flowing.
One of my favorite gifts is an emailed copy of a tattered, stained, old recipe of our customer’s Cincinnati Chile. She took the time to send us a copy when she got home from her Maui vacation because we were talking about that yummy dish while she waiting for her shuttle back to the airport. Now that’s thoughtful! And that’s cool!
Just hearing one of our shuttle drivers say how much she loved our sweet customer’s heart shaped sunglasses inspired her to mail a pair to Kihei Rent A Car for the driver. Amazing right?
Everyone loves Corky’s bright and ever changing knee high socks. Several customers have sent her new pairs.
We are regularly gifted wine and beer and all kinds of bubbly drinks. It’s like a never ending fountain of beverages that we all get to enjoy.
