Preview for Two Events Tomorrow – Fun & Meaningful on Maui

November 6, 2025

1. Street-Festival Meets Comic Con in Wailuku

https://www.paradise-found-in-maui.com/images/WailukuMauiFirstFridayCrowd.jpgJoin us at the vibrant Wailuku First Friday tomorrow evening (Nov 7, 6–9 p.m.) in historic Wailuku town, where this month it teams up with Maui Comic Con for a family-friendly mash-up of street festival, art, food and geek culture.

Expect live entertainment on the Market Street Stage (including falsetto champion Leimana Purdy), an Artist Alley inside the Wailuku Municipal Parking Garage, a Night Darling Cosplay Showcase at 7:30 p.m. (sign-ups start at 5:30 p.m.), and free parking after 6 p.m. in the garage (Market Street closes to cars at 5:30 p.m.).

If you’re picking up a rental from us at Kihei Rent A Car, this is a perfect event to plan your drive for — arrive early, leave the car in the garage and stroll the fun scene.

2. A Gala with Heart in Kula

This meaningful event aims to raise funds for fire fuels reduction, hazard mitigation, green-waste services and ongoing clean-up from the Kula Fire.

Table and event sponsorships are still available, and tickets can be purchased online. For our customers looking for a more elegant, purposeful evening, this is a wonderful option. We recommend picking up your rental car ahead of time and planning your route up to Kula to enjoy the sunset views.

  • For Wailuku: park in the designated garage, avoid leaving vehicles on Market Street after 5:30 p.m. to avoid towing.

  • For Kula: allow extra drive time from Kihei, enjoy the upland scenic route and plan for possible twilight driving.

Whether you’re after lively street culture or a meaningful gala under the stars, tomorrow offers two very different but equally special Maui experiences.

Let us help you arrive in comfort and confidence.
