At Kihei Rent A Car, we not only take care of our cars and customers—we’ve also proudly cared for a special cat colony on our property for over two decades. Today, with heavy hearts, we share the passing of one of our dearest feline residents: Lilly.

Pictured on the left in the photo, Lilly was a striking, long-haired tortoiseshell who lived to be over 20 years old—a true matriarch of our colony. Gentle yet independent, Lilly had a quiet grace about her. Whether she was lounging in the sun or sharing meals with her furry companions, she always brought a sense of peace to our lot.

Lilly was more than just a colony cat—she was part of the Kihei Rent A Car ‘ohana. Many of our returning customers came to know and love her, often asking, “How’s Lilly doing?” Her presence will be deeply missed not only by us, but by everyone who met her over the years.

Mahalo, Lilly, for your years of companionship, resilience, and quiet beauty. You were a reminder that love comes in many forms—even in the soft purr of a cat who’s simply happy to be nearby.
