FUN FACT: Kukui Mall, where the Kihei Cinema is, is one of the original locations for Kihei Rent A Car. We build the small kiosk in the back of the parking lot to operate from. When the Mall placed restrictions on the number of parking stalls and how much water we could use to wash cars, we found our current lot at 96 Kio Loop. Before Kukui Mall we operated out of a trailer behind the 76 gas station and then out of a shack next to the 76 gas station. Our journey starting in 1990 brought us to our current location in 1998.
