Aloha, and welcome to Maui! If your travels bring you near Kahului this November, this is your chance to catch a slice of cinematic magic during the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival (HIFF) returning to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) on November 8th & 9th.
HIFF is more than just film screenings — it’s a cultural bridge connecting stories from Hawaiʻi, the Asia-Pacific region, and beyond. Expect a carefully curated slate of feature films, short films, and documentaries, many of them from local Hawaiian filmmakers vying for the “Made in Hawaiʻi” awards.
As you plan your visit, keep in mind:
-
All screenings happen in the McCoy Studio Theater at the MACC.
-
Tickets are $17 per screening, available online only.
-
Out of compassion for our Maui ‘ohana still recovering from the wildfires, you’re encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations, which the MACC and HIFF will collect in support of the Maui Food Bank.
At Kihei Rent-A-Car, we want to help you make the most of your Maui experience. Rent one of our reliable vehicles, drive up to the MACC, enjoy the films, and soak in the aloha spirit — all at your own pace. We’re honored to support local arts and storytelling. Mahalo, and see you at HIFF!
