Food and Stars

October 14, 2024

Maui offers enchanting Starlit Nights and Culinary Delights throughout October and November 2024, blending gourmet experiences with breathtaking views of the island’s clear night skies.

A key highlight is the Stargazing & Dinner events at Hotel Wailea. This exclusive experience combines a five-course meal prepared by award-winning chefs with expert-led stargazing. Guests dine on exquisite cuisine while viewing constellations and planets through telescopes, all set in the serene ambiance of the hotel’s stunning grounds.

Another notable event is O’o Farm’s Twilight Dinner, held in the Upcountry region. This event allows visitors to experience the farm’s sustainable practices through a farm-to-table dining experience. Guests enjoy a fresh, seasonal menu made from ingredients harvested directly from the farm, followed by stargazing under Maui’s clear skies.

For a more casual but equally delightful night out, Wailea Kitchen occasionally hosts Starlit Nights & Live Music evenings, where diners can enjoy local dishes and live entertainment, all under the stars.

Combining a dinner at Haliʻimaile General Store with a stargazing session is “Starry Nights and Culinary Delights” on Oct. 25 and Nov. 8.

Begin the evening with a dinner at the Haliʻimaile General Store, where Maui’s local ingredients take center stage. Afterward, venture to a private event deck within the serene Maui Gold Pineapple Farm for a stargazing session led by Maui’s Stargazers Anonymous. Under the vast island sky, enjoy a guided exploration of the stars with expert commentary.

Starry Nights and Culinary Delights takes place Oct. 25 and Nov. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. at Maui Gold Pineapple Farm in Hali’imaile.

These events offer visitors a chance to enjoy the best of Maui’s culinary scene while taking in the island’s natural beauty, making for unforgettable evenings during the fall season.
