We’re excited to share an upcoming island-experience perfect for families, visitors and locals alike: the free community event Holoholo Ka‘a 2025 presented by Nā Leo Pūlama o Maui. Mark your calendars: Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UH Maui College parking lot (swap meet area) in Central Maui.
This fun, family-friendly gathering invites keiki (children) and ʻohana (families) to climb aboard and explore the “kalaka nui” — big trucks and special vehicles like fire engines, ambulances, tow trucks, rubbish trucks and more — that help keep Maui moving, safe, and thriving.
At Kihei Rent A Car, we know your island adventure is more than the ride—it’s the memories you make. So why not start your day with a vehicle of your own, then swing by Holoholo Ka‘a for a stop that’ll delight the youngsters, spark curiosity, and support local community heroes? We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated and keep Maui’s ʻāina (land) clean.

If you’re staying in Kīhei or anywhere else on Maui, let us help you pick the right wheels for your day—whether it’s gearing up for family fun, beach hopping, or exploring beyond. We hope you’ll take advantage of this engaging event and make the most of your time on the island.
Mahalo nui loa, and safe travels!
