Looking for an island experience that’s as uplifting and vibrant as Maui’s sunsets? Mark your calendars for Seabury Hall’s Common Ground Dance Festival VI — a heart-warming celebration of youth movement and culture taking place January 30 and 31, 2026 at the ʻAʻaliʻikūhonua Creative Arts Center on the Seabury Hall campus in Makawao.
Now in its seventh year, Common Ground brings together more than 100 young dancers and performers from across Maui, showcasing an inspiring mix of styles from ballet and contemporary to hip-hop, hula and taiko drumming. This festival isn’t just about dance — it’s about community and connection, giving talented youth from different schools and academies a stage to shine and collaborate.
Witnessing these performances is a beautiful way to experience local culture and the aloha spirit from the heart of Maui’s upcountry arts scene. Tickets are affordable and keiki ages 4 and under get in free, so it’s easy to bring the whole ʻohana!
