If you’re visiting Maui this June, there’s a delicious new reason to explore Upcountry. From June 22-28, Maui Gold Pineapple Company will celebrate International Pineapple Week with the debut of its new Maui Pineapple Farm brand at Hāliʻimaile Farms. The week-long event honors one of Maui’s most iconic crops while showcasing exciting new pineapple-inspired products and local businesses.
Visitors can enjoy daily vendor pop-ups featuring Maui artisans, food producers, coffee vendors, teas, treats, and more. The celebration will also introduce a new collection of Maui-made products crafted from Maui Gold pineapples, including fresh-cut pineapple, juice, teas, and dehydrated snacks.
International Pineapple Day falls on June 27, and Maui Gold will join the 58th Makawao Parade, sharing fresh pineapple with parade-goers throughout the day.
For guests of Kihei Rent A Car, this event offers the perfect opportunity to discover Maui’s agricultural heritage while enjoying the island’s famously sweet pineapple. Located on the slopes of Haleakalā, Maui Gold has been growing pineapples for more than 50 years and remains one of Maui’s most unique visitor experiences.
